Frequently Asked Questions

At your initial examination we will spend most of the hour talking about your health history, current complaints, lifestyle and personal goals so that I can create a plan of care that is specifically tailored to you. Then the physical exam generally includes an assessment of:

• Global strength and flexibility of the body focused on trouble areas
• Functional mobility including walking, standing, sitting, balance, lifting, and/or laying down.
• Breathing mechanics
• External pelvic mobility, flexibility, and tone
• Internal pelvic mobility, flexibility, and tone accessed vaginally and/or rectally

Therapy at restoring balance will require a personal commitment to exercise, behavioral change, and participation in clinic so, anyone old enough to make that commitment is welcome at Restoring Balance. Generally 15 years old or older.

We accept all major credit cards, checks, and cash. We do not accept private insurance, Medicare, or Tricare because of their new stringent standards limiting length of plan care, covered conditions, and increasingly vague parameters for coverage.

An evaluation and each subsequent visit is 55 min.
